Tivoli Vredenburg celebrates First birthday with festival ‘we are one’

It’s been a year since the rebuilding of the Vredenburg music centre and to celebrate that milestone, a festival will take place on June the 13th. All musical genres will be displayed and several famous artists will perform, such as Triggerfinger and The Handsome Poets. The tickets cost 30 euros and will give the visitors access to all halls and performances.

During the festival, all five halls in the building will be up and running. According to organiser Sytse Wils, the festival is an attempt to “break through the invisible walls between tastes, genres and halls.”

The rebuilding of the Vredenburg took several years and was executed by architects of world fame. The building hosts events of all kinds, from classical music to modern rap, making it unique in Utrecht and The Netherlands.
