‘Livewire’, the first electric motorcycle project by Harley-Davidson, will be showcasing at the Motor Show Utrecht next year while thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts await the chance to catch a glimpse and try out this slick, hybrid two-wheeler.
Harley-Davidson launched Project Livewire this week for the first time in Europe at the prestigious 72th EICMA motor show in Milan.
“Project Livewire is an expression of individuality and iconic style, and happens to be electric,” said Mark-Hans Richer, senior vice president and Chief Marketing Officer of Harley-Davidson Company. “Project Livewire is therefore a bold statement for us as a company and brand.”
Harley-Davidson’s Project Livewire was initiated to gain insight into what users expect from an electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle. It’s no wonder visitors get the chance to take a test drive and really experience ‘Livewire’ as part of the Project Limewire Experience.

“In just a few years, we have broadened our reach and are now serving more diverse groups of riders. At the same time we rethought our approach when it comes to developing new products,” says Matt Levatich, President and Chief Operating Officer of Harley-Davidson Motor Company.
