FC Utrecht sign dream candidates

FC Utrecht have announced the signing of new coaches Erik ten Hag (44) and Jean-Paul de Jong (43). After it became known that current manager Robbie Alflen would leave the club, FC Utrecht were looking for a new man or couple to lead the team in the next season.

[gard align=”right”]With Ten Hag and De Jong, Utrecht have contracted their dream candidates. Whereas Erik Ten Hag has been successful with Go Ahead Eagles and Bayern Munich, Jean-Paul de Jong is currently leading his team FC Eindhoven to promotion. Moreover, De Jong is nicknamed “mister FC Utrecht” for playing over 400 matches for the club.

Erik ten Hag will be the head coach, while also being occupied with the scouting and youth academy. Jean-Paul de Jong will assist him by leading the daily training. They will be presented by FC Utrecht at the end of the season.
