FC Utrecht looking for new manager as Robbie Alflen is leaving

Last updated 6 years ago by UtrechtCentral.com

FC Utrecht are searching for a new manager to lead the team next season. In early April, the club made known that the contract of current manager Robbie Alflen would not be renewed, due to disappointing results. FC Utrecht are looking for a manager who will be actively involved in scouting as well as the youth academy.

[gard align=”right”]Fan favourite seems to be Jean-Paul de Jong, who played over 370 matches for FC Utrecht in his career and is now the manager of FC Eindhoven. Another candidate for the position is Erik ten Hag, whose contract with Bayern Munich expires this summer. The 45-year old had already stated that he would love to return to the Netherlands.

FC Utrecht hope to announce the signing of a new manager as soon as possible.
