Last updated 7 years ago by UtrechtCentral.com

Ten coffeeshops in Utrecht were raided on Tuesday afternoon on suspicion of illegal trading and other criminal activities.

At least half a million in raw funds were seized as well as 150 kilogram block of hash and a weapon. Two suspects were brought into custody including a man of 30 years from Breda and a 52 year old Utrechter.

The raid consisted of some 60 agents and some members of the royal Dutch army who used special equipment to take a look behind the walls of the building structures.
