Brexit Benefits

Brexit

It gets better and better. The benefits of Brexit seem endless, just like the queues will be at Schipol Airport it seems. We Brits have achieved such a wonderful feat. Leave Europe, alienate 27 countries, have no future trade deals with anyone and now transport problems a plenty.

Rumour had it that planes wouldn’t be able to land in the UK after Brexit unless a deal was done. Has this deal been done? Has it heck!

Well its reported now that here will be chaos at Schiphol if the European Union and the United Kingdom do not make a deal. Travellers from the United Kingdom are always used to standing in line for a while at the passport control, but it has been so straightforward for the last forty years.. The time that incoming British people take in passport control is on average 25 seconds per person. But if no agreements are made, the waiting time will increase to between 40 to 45 seconds per person. No problem you may think, just another 20 seconds. I can handle that. But hang on (and that’s what you’ll be doing) the waiting time for a plane with two hundred passengers means we have to times that increase to make about fifty minutes to over an hour per customer.

Oh the joys of Brexit..
