Last updated by

Women’s football is coming to an end at FC Utrecht after the foundation responsible SVVU declared bankruptcy towards the end of October 2013. The SVVU attempted to prevent insolvency but all efforts with stakeholders delivered no positive results.

Matches are to continue until the courts confirm the bankruptcy. The next women’s home match against KAA Gent is on 17 January. Utrecht are at twelfth position in the BeNe League.
