State Secretary Blokhuis is coming to Welkom in Veenendaal to look at how they work and the success they have been having.
A growing number of people in the Netherlands are becoming economically homeless. whether its due to divorce or financial problems, they can no longer live in their own homes.
In addition, there are more and more people who for other reasons no longer have a grip on their own lives. In the current system they often fall along the wayside.
It is difficult to get the right help because there is little coordination between the various healthcare institutions.
Social housing concept Welkom found the solution and is now a prime example of success in this area.
State Secretary Paul Blokhuis of Health, Welfare and Sport will therefore visit Welkom in Veenendaal on Friday, February 1.
Blokhuis believes it is important that this specific target group is helped in our society and that they can then continue to participate in a positive way to society.
