Not often?

Sometimes?

And how can any one person change the world? It’s a tall order and of course we cannot change the world on our own or can we?

Eliane Becks-Nininahazwe has feature quite often on this site as a fearless campaigner to remove the stigma surrounding HIV and now she wants to go one better and needs your help.

Eliane is keen to undertake a study trip to South Africa with the vocal choir Duze NomShikaShika, to raise awareness of her campaign and to gain an insight into the work being done there.

As an “HIV stigma fighter” she is adamant that that HIV should no longer be a taboo, but should be treated. She is living proof of that and is happy to express it.

The story of her life history can be read at here.

You can also find many articles about her work on this site.

For this trip and the education of people in the townships in South Africa she needs to raise € 3000 and asks for your support via this GoFundMe crowdfunding page here.

Please look it up and donate what you can.
