Tornado leaves path of destruction behind in Utrecht

A possible tornado made it’s way through the outer regions of Utrecht Wednesday night uprooting trees and leaving behind a path of destruction. Many Dutch cities were flooded overnight by heavy spells of rain causing chaos to the traffic system and residences susceptible to flooding. The weather around many parts of Europe has been showing unusual activity in the last two weeks.

Unpredictable weather is expected to follow on Thursday night. People have been advised to remain indoors to prevent being struck by lightning or being overpowered by unexpected gusts of wind. Teams have been stationed to begin pumping flood water in areas that are prone to flooding.
