Power shortage investigation leads to marijuana plantation

A home-made marijuana plantation was discovered shortly after receiving a call at 4:55 on Sunday morning concerning a power shortage at a neighboring residence.

Police arrived at the alleged suspect’s door who was not home at the time. The 24 year old came walking along shortly after and was apprehended following an investigation of the home.

Fives rooms in total were found to contain marijuana plants which were receiving artificial sunlight generated through illegally tapped electricity. The apparatus and equipment were confiscated.
