Marijuana growing equipment discovered in old bunker

Last updated by

Authorities uncovered the remains of what used to be a marijuana plantation in an old bunker in Bilthoven on Tuesday.

The bunker has long locked and empty but police had received a tip on Tuesday that the door was forced open. Lamps, for the cultivation of cannabis, were discovered, but there was not a plant in sight.

The bunker has enough space for at least 750 plants per harvest. It is not yet clear how often was harvested but police are working on the investigation.
