Flowers bring Smiles to de Neude

Last updated by

You will have noticed as you passed through de Neude today the beautiful flowers that adorned it.

This was a piece of so called “Flower Graffiti”

As Mooiwatbloemendoen told us

“We have placed a flower graffiti piece on de Neude in Utrecht, because Mooiwatbloemendoen.nl wants people to know that…

“We need more flowers”

Mooiwatbloemendoen.nl is an inspirational online platform, where consumers can find tips and tricks, DIY, information, events and inspiration on flowers of all shades.

they continued, “It is because for a life to be lived to the fullest, flowers are everything. They comfort us when we are sad, the help us to celebrate when we have accomplished something. They make us happier.  That’s why they put this beautiful flower wall up on de Neude today.”

“We just want to share with passengers that flowers make life.”

Mooiwatbloemendoen says that:

“Because flowers have a direct effect on how we feel, they make us feel happier. They stimulate the production of happiness hormones such as dopamine and serotonin in our bodies and thus determine our mood.”

I am sure you would agree that as you pass the Flower Wall today, a smile will have come to your face and there would be an immediate uplift in your spirits. Yes Flowers do that!

“Because if flowers actually have such a positive effect on people, then do we need more of them?”

This is all part of a programme promoted by Bloemenbureau Holland
