Fast food chain Taco Bell coming soon to Utrecht

Last updated 2 years ago by UtrechtCentral.com

The fast food chain Taco Bell are soon to be opening up a branch in Utrecht although the exact date of inauguration is still unknown.

[gard align=”right”]The Tex-Mex food chain would like to be situated at the Clarenburg building next to FEBO and opposite SubWay however Taco Bell has no license to operate at this location as of yet. People have mixed feelings towards their arrival, especially after hearing they plan to occupy the entire second and third floor of the building. With the coming of Taco Bell, that would make the entire building one large block fast-food restaurants.

Taco Bell is the world’s largest American Tex-Med fast-food restaurant inspired by Mexican food. The franchise was founded in 1962 by Glenn Bell, a California navy veteran who passed away in 2010. There are at least 6,500 restaurants operating in the world with Eindhoven the first location to make way for a Taco Bell. The Eindhoven branch was packed from day one as living proof that there are hardcore nacho and taco fans around every corner.

A total of 26 restaurants are expected to be inaugurated within the next few years.

  1. FYI: That stuff is neither Mexican, nor a taco… and definitely not “food”.

I had hoped to escape these places when I left the US.

    • A moment of ‘wisdom’ ?
      — or perhaps not enough €€ in the proper pockets??

Unforunately there is still the threat of Dunkin Donuts, StarSucks, Burger joints, Bagel & Beans…and related U.S. trash vendors creeping into NL.
