Bullied homosexuals reach agreement

A homosexual couple who were bullied out of their home by youths in 2010 have come to an agreement with the Utrecht town hall to accept a hefty amount in compensation for psychological damages.

The couple rejected an earlier offer of euro 35,000 the previous year because they found the consideration to be much too low compared to their claim of euro 60,000.

The exact amount they are to receive has not been made public.
