Bock beer festival will take place at Mick O’Connells Irish pub

Last updated by

Many were disappointed to hear that the Bock Beer festival would not take place at the Ledig Erf square this year. Erik Verhoef, an employee of the Mick O’Connels pub, was unable to tolerate the bad news and arranged for the festival to be held at the pub itself.

The Bock Beer festival is a three day festival held to commemorate and experience a range of specially brewed local and foreign Bock beers. Bock beer is known for its rich and complex style of lager; some more hoppy or malty than the other.

The Bock Beer festival will be taking place at the Mick O’Connels pub from the 14th to the 16th of October. Tickets are not required although you are required to bring your own glass.
