Last updated byStayokay has opened a new hostel at Utrecht Neude open to guests since Friday. The new location has a total of sixty rooms and 250 beds in a fresh and stylish setting.
Consideration has also been given to sustainability. The floor is made of strong bamboo, the staff wear clothing made from recycled material and many products in the cafeteria are of local produce. The renovation of the interior lasted some eight months.
The new location has gone and replaced the premises of the Dutch Game Garden, who have moved to the Jaarbeurs. It is the twenty-fifth branch to be inaugurated by the Budget Hostel chain. Stayokay now has two locations in Utrecht including the one in Bunnik next to the historic building Old Amelisweerd.
