Miffy museum comes to life in Utrecht

A new performance for children of all ages, from 2 to 80+, Pussy Nel, will be appearing in opera at the museum from 30 October to 2 November. Pussy Nel wants to be an Indian. But where do the Indians live and how do you get there? The opera showcases the famous book by Dick Bruna where Poesje Nel comes to life through animations, song and music. This will be an enchanting experience for the little ones and the not so little ones who can relive their childhood in the warmth of Dick Bruna’s creation.

As if we needed proof, Miffy lives here and from Sunday 28 October 2018, the first day of winter time, there will be a film projection on the façade of the Miffy Museum. A unique performance, ‘Here Lives Miffy’ can be seen every evening and passers-by, of all ages, can enjoy this cheerful, wintry show.

Dick Bruna tells us:

‘I give every child the space to fill in his own fantasy.’

These two events will illuminate that fact, giving everyone the chance to enjoy his stories and invent their own world of Miffy.
