Last updated 2 years ago by Jon Wilkins

Just a reminder to take a dip in the Nieuwjaarsduik cultural offer of Utrecht today and enjoy a versatile program at 44 different locations.

All day long there is plenty to do in the Winkel van Sinkel! There are various activities for children, including theater by songwriter Jasper Smit and Festival Tweetakt. The day ends with Freedom City, the urban dance battle in which eight freestyle dancers compete against each other. An energetic show that you should not miss!

In the Winkel van Sinkel you will also find the Cultural Sundays info point, where you can ask questions about the program and leave your New Year’s wish to the New Year’s dive line. You will also find the culture quiz of Uitagenda Utrecht. Join in and win one of the prizes offered by different cultural organizations.

Burdened by the stress of too much choice? No worries! To make it easier we have put together a number of thematic routes. From music to workshops and from kids to language no problem; everything has been thought of.

Koekoek 030 Festival travels through unique locations in Utrecht for three months. The goal: to surprise visitors with talented artists from the Utrecht music, art and design world. This eis accompanied by music by Loki and art by Lonneke Ponneke.

Bibiotheek Utrecht organizes a real Pub Quiz today! Test your knowledge about literature, art, music and film. Quizmasters Merel & Frank challenge you with questions about Van Kooten and De Bie up to and including Connie Palmen.

A mini festival in the Kargadoor, with stand-up comedy, live music, art expo, DJ, theater, jazz and music by Van Piekeren.

The ladies of the GrachtenGalerie enter the new year with a new collection. A large part will soon also be taken to the First Art Fair in Amsterdam. Discover the stories behind these works!

Celebrate the New Year with the best pop music. DB’s is being transformed into an intimate living room where up-and-coming artists make their songs heard.
