The entertainment industry is more competitive than it has ever been but that hasn’t stopped Mr. Brandon Delagraentiss from pushing forward to make his dreams a reality with his new upcoming makeover show, ‘Man in the Mirror’.

Brandon, who also has his own profile on IMDB, starred in his first 11 minute shorty titled, ‘Billy and Aaron’, in 2010 and has been looking for a new opportunity in entertainment since his arrival to Utrecht.

I had the chance to attend the presentation about his new show at the NH hotel in Utrecht on the 16th of November. Musical intermezzos were provided by Jeff Sopacua and Jorginho Paunussa.

This is not Brandon’s first time in the Netherlands. His first appearance was at the Royal Theater Carré in Amsterdam in May of 2008. He liked the Netherlands so much, that he immediately applied for a residence permit.

During his stay here, Brandon has managed to hook up with a number of key figures who share his passion for great entertainment. One such individual is, Adam Bakar Omar; the driving force behind SmashTV: an online television channel that produces its own programming.

The two shook hands for the first time in May of 2014 and while sitting together, the idea came to mind to produce a makeover show with Brandon as host. They decided; the first episode would feature a homeless male candidate who would receive a makeover from head to toe. They waited no longer, and got straight down to business.

“I thought of the concept for the makeover show in April, 2014, after reading the book “Laws of Success” by Napoleon Hill and Adam came with the name the next month,” exclaimed Brandon.

Their pilot episode features Marcel, a 44 year old Dutch gentleman and ex-process operator who has been making the most of his life as a homeless person since age 17. Marcel agreed to be on their first pilot episode and so the filming began.

Can’t wait to see how Brandon works his magic on the most hopeless cases in the fashion world? Tune into SmashTV on the 27th of November 2014.
