Picnic, the upcoming online retail grocer for the Dutch market, have decided to expand their business in an interesting and effective way. In fact, Picnic will now be serving as a postal service from today onward but only for companies that need their packages returned to sender.

Picnic will pick up packages with their traditional three-wheeler delivery vans after delivering the groceries to customers. The packages will then be collected by Sandd, – a Netherlands based postal service – and then redelivered back to the sender’s addresses.

Picnic are now active at over 58 locations in the Netherlands and are continuously engaged with the expansion of their company. The fact that they are open to penetrating new kinds of markets confirms that they are open to all kinds of co-operations of mutual benefit.
