Newborn launches program for startups and investors

Last updated 1 year ago by Michael Darmanin

[gard align=”right”]Newborn is a venture studio which is powered by the Utrecht based Born05 Marketing and Advertising digital agency. It connects its investor network to potential startups. The Born05 Group participates in startups and corporate ventures through Newborn and this summer Newborn is launching the Newborn Startup Program for corporate startups and investors.

The program’s goal is helping new companies. It is a six week program lead by a team of specialists in the startup world. These specialists know all about the pitfalls of starting a new company and can therefore offer valuable advice. They know what should be part of a growth plan and can help with providing access to the resources they have in their network.

The number of startups in the Netherlands has steadily increased over the years, as well as the amount of funds that corporations invest in startups, Corporate Venture Capital. According to the founder and CEO of the Born05 Group, Rogier IJzermans, this is because it offers larger companies the chance to use their network to invest in and to acquire the latest technology in their field.
