Spain comes to Utrecht

Last updated by

Well here’s a thing! We are of course a highly popular, highly addictive English language web site, but we reach out to all nationalities. We have been featuring our friends from other communities as we know that Utrecht is a wonderfully diverse city and we love to hear their views on living abroad and how they see the Dutch. It is all highly educational and instructive and we can all learn from what they have to say.

On that note I will reintroduce you all to Belen, who we featured in our “A señora in Utrecht series.”

Belen is going to teach a creative writing course at the Instituto Cervantes of Utrecht from the end of January until April if there are enough students registered, and she would like to reach out to you all to see if anyone is interested in attending and learning. The course will be held in Spanish but students would be able to write either in Spanish, English or Catalan.

It will be a Practical course of creative writing

From Wednesday 23th January to Wednesday 17 April

The main goal of the course is to offer the students some techniques which could help them to unblock their own literary creativity and help it to be released and used. To do so, practical exercises and games will be played, individually and in group. During the two hour lessons held every two weeks you will work with creative writing over two bases: narrativity and language. In every session, new resources will be introduced and explained using practical examples and games in order to really interiorize them.

Previous requirements: A will to have fun writing. Reading, speaking and comprehension skills in Spanish (from B2). A will  to tell stories in the most creative and unique way that exists within you. It is NOT NECESSARY to be a writer or to want to become one.

For our Spanish friends:

Taller de escritura – Curso práctico de escritura creativa (a partir de B2) (170-EP-C-02-E2)

Level: E2

Language: Español

Start date: Miércoles, 23 enero, 2019

Finish date: Miércoles, 17 abril, 2019

Horario: Mi:18:30-20:30;
