Oud-Utrecht celebration comes to city

The Utrecht historical association, Oud-Utrecht has been in existence for 95 years and they are celebrating this occasion throughout the year. The highlight of their celebrations will be on 13 October with the very first Night of Utrecht History. This will be a new event where Oud-Utrecht are pleased to announce that The Utrecht Archive will be the main location for the festival.

In addition, the Domkerk and Domunder will be open to the public all evening, with an adapted programme. The Gilde Utrecht guides will take visitors through the city highlighting the history of the city.

The theme is Revolt and speakers will include journalist Ad van Liempt, junior curator Annabel Dijkema and city conservator René de Kam. There will also be a selection of historical snacks and drinks on offer as well as a quiz.
