A variant of The North Sea Jazz Festival is to be held at Tivoli Vredenburg Utrecht for the first time ever. Some of the most contemporary names in Jazz today will be performing including Ibrahim Maalouf, Mark Guiliana Jazz Quartet and GoGo Penguin, Sons of Kemet, Nik Bärtsch and Makaya McCraven.

This Utrecht edition will be titled the “Transition Jazz Festival Utrecht” and will focus on the newer generation of jazz musicians who bring with them an exciting adventure in music with plenty of room for experimentation and improvisation.

Tickets will go on sale Friday and the festival itself will take place on March 26th.
