Atelierroute set to wow Utrecht!

Last updated 2 years ago by Jon Wilkins

The Atelierroute Utrecht is organized by Kunstliefde Ruimte voor Beeldende Kunst in Utrecht. and will take place on the first two sundays in October

In the various locations we will be given the chance to look inside the artist’s holy domain. We are also able to buy art and look at the place where it is made.

Atelierroute gives us the opportunity to meet the artists in our own city of Utrecht.

Every other year, the doors of studios, ateliers and workshops are opened to the public. More than 200 artists will show their work in their studio and welcome you to explore. Special walking and cycling routes have been set out in the city to make it easy for the visitor to find their way and to make choices from all the beautiful locations on the Utrecht map.

Amongst the various creative arts on display are:

Performance, Text / Sound, Digital Media / Film, Textile, Chart, Ceramic Techniques / Glass, Installation Art, Applied Design / Design, Photography, Images / Objects, Drawing and Painting.

The list is almost endless, but the opportunities are there for all Utrechters to get involved and to explore

I hope to have interviews with some of those who are involved later, so do stay tuned.
