Oudaen is a fortified medieval house (also called city castle) on the Oudegracht in the Dutch city of Utrecht. The building, with house number 99, is one of the most important monuments in the city.

Oudaen was built shortly after the year 1276, as dendrochronological research has shown. Like the other “city castles” it consisted of a large, deep, representative main house and a much smaller side house that was easier to heat and actually served more as living space.
