MERWEDE-MAAKT-Boulderhal-Sterk-1If you’ve got nothing planned out for this Sunday, you might want to head down to the ‘Merwede Maakt’ event on the 25th of May.

Merwede is a district in development with a focus on innovation. In the future, it will become a modern, active neighbourhood with plenty of living, working and recreational facilities.

This Sunday, will prove that Merwede is a zone not to be forgotten. There will be more than enough to do for everyone including:

  • Skate workshops
  • Pizza and Focaccia baking
  • 3D printing
  • Woodworking
  • Climbing/bouldering (large hall)
  • Creative coding and processing

Entrepreneurs in the region are positive about the future prospects of Merwede and the active participation inhabitants will be able to take to shape their own neighbourhood. After all, you are going to live there for a while so what do you want out of your community?

So are you up for something different this Sunday? Head on down! I’ve marked the area in red so you can find your way. For your own reference, the address is Koningin Wilhelminalaan 4.
