The Scottish-American alternative rock band Garbage plays ‘Version 2.0’ this evening, their acclaimed second album. Version 2.0 includes the singles ‘I Think I’m Paranoid’, ‘Push It’, ‘Special’, ‘When I Grow Up’.
Garbage made their debut in the mid nineties with a very strong debut album with hits like ‘Queer’, ‘Stupid Girl’ and ‘Only Happy When It Rains’. With their well-sounded rock songs, charismatic front-woman (Shirley Manson) and subtle electronic arrangements, Garbage was the right band at the right time.
The band won several MTV Awards, received Grammy Award nominations and sold more than 12 million albums worldwide. After the fourth album, Garbage took a break in 2005. In 2012, they were back on scene with songs titled ‘Not Your Kind Of People’. Their most recent record ‘Strange Little Birds’ (2016) has a nice gothic, Depeche Mode-like touch!
