When: Sunday 28 October 2018
7:45 pm

On Sunday 28 October Fish will be appearing live at Tivoli Vredenburg. He may be minus Marillion, but it was his amazing voice that brought the band such renown in the 1980s.

Since going solo Derek William Dick, or Fish has produced ten albums with a voice described as both “distinct” and a “conflation of Roger Daltrey and Peter Gabriel”

His eleventh album is due out next year entitled Weltschmerz. An interesting title that is from the German for world pain or world weariness. It denotes the kind of feeling experienced by someone who believes that physical reality can never satisfy the demands of the mind. So that’s going to be interesting if the music reflects that view point!

Well known Scottish Nationalist Fish will be supported by Robin Boult on Electric and Acoustic guitar, Steve Vantsis on Bass guitar, Keyboards and Backing vocals, John Beck playing Keyboards and Backing vocals and Drummer, Gavin Griffiths.
