Picking flowers for Mother’s Day

Last updated 4 weeks ago by Michael Darmanin

From ladders, children in Hoog Catharijne pick heart-shaped flowers from the air. On the occasion of Mother’s Day, flower stylist Sarah Dikker has hung a 40 m2 platform with thousands of red, pink and purple Anthuriums.

The promotion raised money for the Orange Babies foundation. For every euro donated, an Anthurium (type of plant) could be picked for mother. The heart-shaped Anthuriums were donated free of charge by Dutch Anthurium growers.
