Nature walks in Bilthoven

Last updated 2 months ago by Michael Darmanin

Silence, peace, and quiet are privileges. They are also part of a healing process. Nature has its own way of healing. The total silence with a touch of tweeting birds has something so nurturing. It is always good to spend time in nature during these long, gloomy and wintry season. The gentle breezy wind reminding us of its necessity. This pandemic has been keeping us indoors. Our homes are also our workplace, it is always nice to find ourselves in nature as it gives us perspective on our lives and our future. A good walk in nature keeps us in shape and helps against depression and stress.

Beschermd Natuurgebied

Luckily there is a perfect spot to be found in the region of Utrecht. It is called “Beschermd Natuurgebied” and its easily reachable by bus from Utrecht Central station. Your eyes and ears will not get enough of this nature walk. In between the roads and spectacular houses, you would find the dunes. There is an endless amount of trees to explore and different types of birds to see and hear.

Bos Park bilthoven

Bos Park Bilthoven is a recreational park, located next to a protected nature reserve. It is the perfect location if you want a vacation in the middle of nature. You could rent a small or big chalet, or you could rent a tent. All sorts of facilities (like a swimming pool, restaurant, and playing area) are provided to perfect your little vacation.
